The springs in Saratoga Springs, New York have fascinating histories tied to the area's development as a health and wellness destination in the 18th and 19th centuries. Each spring often acquired its name from notable people, locations, or characteristics.
As the name suggests, Peerless Spring was considered "peerless" or unparalleled in terms of its quality and the purity of its water. It was believed to have unique, healing properties, and its waters were highly prized for their mineral content, particularly their low sulfur levels, which made them more palatable than some of the other springs.
Peerless Spring was discovered in the mid-19th century and quickly became one of the more popular springs in Saratoga due to its distinctive taste and perceived health benefits. Its water was known for its clarity and refreshing taste, which helped it stand out from the more heavily mineralized waters of other springs in the area.

Disclosure: Our candles are meticulously crafted by hand, and therefore, they may be subject to slight variations in appearance. Being natural, our soy wax can display slight differences as well.
How to use:
To prevent tunneling, burn until the entire surface has turned to liquid wax before extinguishing.
Before lighting your candle, always trim the wick to about 5mm and remove any debris.
Burn on a flat surface and periodically turn the candle to ensure an even burn pool.
Always burn within sight.
Extinguish the candle if it repeatedly smokes or the flame becomes too high, let it cool, re-align and trim the wick.
Avoid burning your candle all the way to the bottom of the vessel. Leave approximately 1cm of wax and extinguish.
Burn in a wind/fan free area. The flame should be still and pointed upwards to ensure even heat distribution and melting.
Store in a climate controlled environment.
Never pour candle wax down your drain. Keep this in mind if you clean out your vessel for re-purposing or recycling.
Don’t leave unattended.
Keep away from flammable objects.
Keep away from children and pets.
Don’t burn for more that 4 hours at a time.
